Dr. James Andrews, telling @RobertKlemko that he never cleared RG3 to go back in against the Ravens after the Redskins QB suffered a knee injury.
When the team revealed RG3’s injury, coach Mike Shanahan said he let Griffin return with the blessing of James Andrews, the renowned orthopedic surgeon, who was on the sideline.
